Bokeh with SX10?

im very into bokeh but one of the reason why i didnt get a dslr is because of its size. they are quite cumbersome at times. are there any other alternatives? those small mirrorless camera like sony nex 3 or 5 maybe?
SX10 is not a compact either; rather large with the form of an SLR body, so i am not sure what the complaint is truly about.

If you want bokeh out of the lens and camera, you'd have to pay for it (including working those arms to bear the weight). Otherwise why should people spend to get those large apertures and sensor sizes, if simpler cheaper equipment did the job.

This pic is very nice taken..I bought sx10 for my gf and she like it alot..i told her if i wan my 7D to have the same spec in term of lens zoom, i have to spend more then 8k to get everything..imagine u have 20x time which is 18mm-560mm for 35mm...this will cos a bomb for lens with USM and IS function. I agree you cant have the best from the both world..tats y..think carefully before u buy.. anyway...sx1is, sx10is and sx20is all are very good cam..learn to use them to their limit..u will love it.,,.

10-22 = 1k
18-135 = 600
100-400 = 2k

16-640mm eq for just 2.6k, way below your 8k estimation...

haha.. perhaps u are rite..i didnt look at the cheaper lens..but there will be alot of things to bring out jus to have full coverage of all angle...

sorry theres one album i took with nikon d90 i think. (my uncle's cam) heh. its the album on the kitten. ok cheers!
