The most popular shot for the themes is One Shoe Freedom.
That's what I call it, taken with a tiny 35mm lens, sorry forgot the camera body.

A brief recap of today's sharing.
Please practice the 3 step method to nail down the flash techniques.
Outdoor flash is half a cup plus half a cup.
I have put up two bokeh shots to let people see my version of portraits with bokeh on my flickr page.

Thanks all for a great morning out, and a special thanks to Francis who really is the fountain of all (photography) knowledge!

I will be trying the 3-step technique whenever I use a flash now and am out to buy an umbrella on Tuesday (I already have the tissues for the f-stopping ).

Take a flash shot.
First step, is it too bright?
If yes, ask subject to step one step back.
Then take second shot, is it still too bright?
If dark then step back one step, take the shot.
Walah! 3 steps done, should be quite close to approximate, then sprinkle to taste.
