Actually u could. U need to mod d mount. N probably shave off a little part of yr mirror ind cam to accommodate it. Seen a lot of ppl online doing it just to use this gorgeous lens on their canons

no surgery please.

no surgery please.

Thats what i saw and I know a guy who did 'surgery' to fix it to his canon body.
Surgery is scary! Hahs!

Anyway, Shizuma, i saw people selling on ebay for MD-EOS adapters, those with glass on it.
Never try to get it? Heee

Hi kitty

Yes, I am very scared of operating on my beloved Canon DSLR. I only have this one body, plus, funds very tight recently

I don't like glass adapter, it mess up the image quality. My camera body isn't so great so the IQ is really sometimes CMI (and ok it's true that my manual lens focussing skill also CMI so I don't want to add another layer of CMI into it) :bsmilie:

nice bokeh although I felt you can push the exposure a bit more in development or digital post process

Thanks, was one of my first few sheets of 8x10 so the development went abit awry hence the marks as well.

Here's one on digital.

Canon 6D, Canon 24mm f/1.4L II @ f/2

Nice blur from the Sony Zeiss FE 55mm f/1.8 Thoth. Lovely:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Btw I have a tech question to all the posters here. I have been doing some test shoots and looking at the shots, I have not been able to emulate the bokeh from the some of the posted shots here, chiefly the multi blur vertical lines of the out of focus image behind the subject. Are these bokeh effects lens design / manufacturer specific or certain combination of focal lenght and aperture?

All I had from the old & new Nikkors were just soft diffused bokeh, also I was able to achieve swirls bokeh as well on longer focal lenghts .
