Yes, optical vignetting much more obvious on FF.
On apsc, a large part of it is cropped off.

Yeah.
To be fair to it, it's real close in rendering to what it was supposed to copy, the Leica pre-asph 35/1.4.
At a fraction of the price.

Quite a marvel of a lens too imo, given the size and f1.4
