Bokeh Monster II

yes Shizuma! wide-open and at minimum focusing distance :D

i don't have the lens with me in the office now to do another shot :(

I would love to see this lens stop down a bit, that's when the 20 bladed circular bokeh will shine! Even at F4 or narrower you can still get nice rounded bokeh!

Shooting wide open will not be able to see any shaping of the 20 blades...

thankew Snr Member! i need to learn from you :)

The first thing to learn is, when looking at bokehlicious photos, is to hide the wallet. The second thing is, to carry tissue paper to stem nosebleeds

K2000, Revuenon 55mm f1.2

Revuenon 55/1.2 certainly a lens often overlooked as ppl go for known branded stuff.
Lovely results.

the price at the evilbay says otherwise LOL i too wish I knew about the lens earlier when the price is still decent...

sweet, oceanpriest. thanks for sharing! sharing is caring!

very nice powdery bokeh Jen. so sharp van too

Fantastic work in this thread gentlemen! You all get me excited about bokeh again!

OK fresh ones from today. Give you feel for bokeh of lens...nervous irritated agitated energetic..maybe why it was once considered a premier fashion lens. Give vintage look!!! Last one blown up on purpose 1.8 wide open just to see what could happen.

Beautiful from the Nikkor 85/1.8
I really feel the agitated jitters in the dog photo.
