Bokeh from 85mm f1.4 G is pretty good too I think...

It is easy to give you a good bokeh even if you have a crappy lens... just use plain background. 1 continues colour without any highlight.

what a wonderful lens..

nice lens... i think few lenses nowadays can produce such a nice photo. Btw, seems to notice many happy people in Aust in your photos.. i hardly find any happy looks in SG nowadays.

When we talk about Bokeh, we are not simply talking about the fuzziness or the blurness of the background. I think any reasonable lens in the tele range can produce a fuzzy/blur background.

Bokeh actually refer to the ‘quality’ of the fuzziness. A lens with good bokeh will gives you less defined edges and less distractions against a ‘noisy’ background.

I think if you look through this sets of photos, you’ll understand what it’s all about.

Something from today.. 2 photos from KM 28mm prime lens.
Interesting observation from these 2 photos.. the top one is with circular bokeh spots..and bottom is hexagon..

That's because the 28/2 doesn't have circular aperture technology, so the moment you stop down you lose the circular highlights.
