Bokeh from 85mm f1.4 G is pretty good too I think...

It is easy to give you a good bokeh even if you have a crappy lens... just use plain background. 1 continues colour without any highlight.

Bokeh from 70-200 f2.8 APO G SSM is also pretty darn good...

sorry guys, i'm newbie here. juz dun understand the lingo. what's a bokeh? thanks for you patience.

Bokeh's a term for the quality of background blur. Good bokeh makes the background smooth, and bad bokeh makes the background look veh confused.

What Hart mentioned previously is right... if you select the correct background, your bokeh will look nice regardless...

For everything else... there's the STF...

I think it's fine.. can do a comparison btw KM bokeh with C and N ;)
Is STF still the king of bokeh lens out there??

btw, very nice model.. smooth bokeh :)

bro,
think u post on the wrong forum. This is the Legacy Konica Minolta not Nikon.............:bsmilie:

Actually Nikon also have a few Defocus Control lenses, heard it's different from minolta soft focus or STF but can't find much info on it.

Bro, where is your soft focus lens, that should give even better bokeh.

The 135mm is faster and lighter.....it a very good lens to bring around with...
