WOW! Beautiful work my friend!

When I started this thread I never thought it would continue for so long... I cant believe its still alive and kicking ;)

I miss SONY / Minolta soooooo much... had to sell of all my gear due to some financial problems, now looking forward to recovering what I have lost! First thing is A700 + 50mm 1.4 :D

Hope to shart sharing awesome bokehlicious shots soon!

Cheers,
Faisal.

Some pics are showing close ups and how shallow the focal plane is rather than bokeh. Quite a confused lot huh?

Sorry bro, I dont understand what you are trying to say :dunno:

Bokeh means out of focus... and bokeh is created when the DOF thinner than the depth of the image... Bokeh can be good or bad depending on our definition of a good / bad. A Bad bokeh not necessarily means bad to every one :) you can shoot at f22 or f32 and still have bokeh in the image :)

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Shallow focus plane = "thicker" bokeh. Remember bokeh just means "Out of focus" area of the image and usually that area is the one behind the subject.

Cheers,
Faisal.
