My first ever contribution to this bokeh thread....

2 images shot on A900 + 100-300 APO @ 300mm F8.

The drastic reduction in D.O.F on FF can be a real challenge... Due to the swaying of the branches in the breeze, the Butterflies in these shots were slightly out-of-focus even at F8, so I had to run some high-pass sharpening...

You need to focus as close as possible to your object.
