Blackrapid 2011: Does the straps STILL fails?

We have the same set-up. Mind doesn't budge no matter what I do as well. Still, it's better safe than sorry. As bro daredevil123 have suggested countless of times: Fail-safe it. :)

I'll post a photo of my fail-safe for my FR-T1 in a while, and hopefully you get something off it. Still watching TV.

EDIT:
Okay, here it is:

Aside from wetting the FR-T1 with water to strengthen the attachment, I also bought a set of Op/Tech Sling Adaptor at CP (only $16) and hooked it into the CR-2 and handstrap eyelets. I know it's a bit of an overkill already but the last thing I wanna do is cry over my broken equipment. In public. :)

Here's a good thread for your reference: Black Rapid RS4

thanks for this.... i think i need this setup for my RSTRAP... ;p

i've used the Blackrapid straps since the RS1 with the Canon DSLRs with grips and the Canon 2.8L trinity lenses shooting concerts and events and i've never had the strap or the fastener loosen on me, OR had anything drop from the strap for the many years i've been using it. I've went from the RS1 to the RS7 to the DR2 and now on the RS Sport 2 and have never had an issue as long as you follow the instructions to install the various parts, no failsafe required. I trust the company's products with my gear when used as specified.

Has anybody got the LCD scratches so far using the strap? I used it for the first time for 2 hours, going home and realize that the lcd has a lot of scratches, due to the body moving back and forth on my jean.
