Hi imjanel,

Nowadays you can make a request for your films to be scanned as Jpegs into a CD-R. Note that not every shop can develop the films with sprocket holes. And, not every camera can take photos with the visuals on the sprockets.

Just some more shots to share...

I went to Triple D @ Burlington Sq to get it processed and scanned. True... the sprockets might nt be necessary. I was just curious how it'll look like with the sprockets. They look kinda interesting to me. heh.

hi guys,

i need some help here and i duno where to post this. I just bought the blackbird, fly. and i finished using the film but now i have no idea how to rewind the film and unload it.

i do not feel any resistance when i rewind it. Also, there is no winding sound or rather, just a little. So, after rewinding for maybe half an hour, i thought it might be safe to open n unload the film. Unfortunately, i exposed the film but closed it quickly.

So can anyone help? what should i do?

Thanks guys. Totally appreciate it!

There's a button on the right side on the BBF which you need to depress before winding. You should feel tension on the rewinding crank and a clicking sound of the film unloading. You need to turn in until the clicking stops and the crank is slack. If it becomes slack too early in the unwinding, you need to depress the button on the right again.

wow! nice series! #1 is interesting! haha!

Hi weiweilum, the spool release button has to be depressed properly... my first experience was using the tip of the lens cap as taught in the manual... but it didn't work too well. Hence, i used the tip of a wooden chopstick to 'poke' the release button.

You can refer to my suggestion in the flickr discussion board: http://www.flickr.com/groups/830027@N25/discuss/72157621901959184/

Did you lock the rewind crank when u rewind the film? You must feel a lil' resistance when you rewind the film, else you are not rewinding it at all.

wow! nice series! #1 is interesting! haha!

Thanks Shuin!! :)
