Hi there.

Does anyone have recommendations for a good lab to do traditional B&W prints?

What the name of the shop, location and pricing?

Thx.

Tough one, I haven't been able to find somebody that could do a decent print job in Singapore the last time I came back.

To me, in Singapore, there is only 2 options. Print digital  or learn printing yourself.

i've never used them myself but from what i hear from other friends who shoot B&W, Fee Fee @ Hong Lim Complex does a pretty decent job. not sure about their fees though.

I wasn't happy with Fee Fee's B&W printing, though their processing is (was?) OK. So... I had to set up my own darkroom and do my own printing.

Frankly in my years of searching around in Singapore I haven't been able to find a B&W lab for pro quality prints.

I asked them after my horrible experience with Ruby. I showed them the prints I got from Ruby and asked if they can do better than that, the lady hesitated and said "We'll try our best". Apparently, she cannot gurantee the quality too. I decided not to do it.

On the other hand, being RGB, you can't do grayscale well. lol. :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:
