Black Rapid Straps

I agree, the design is really good and will not cause pain if doin portrait shot. However, that small thing is very expensive. I think of they reduce it by 50% i might buy one.

woah 50% like too much for a reduce leh~ hmm... maybe i'll buy one in the future.. probably not now, i guess... even if im going to buy one it's going to be a 2nd hand one... due to the budget i have... xD

If you know what black rapids used to sell for for the first few models, you will be surprised...

I got mine for $60+ new only. some more CR2 and FR2

Somemore bought in Cathay Photo... last one at that price. I think they were clearing old stock for the new RS-4 and RS-7

anyone here bought b4 3rd party ones before settling for a BR or SS ?

Yup, I bought a copycat version of the BR, though not exactly the same. Just find the screw to the tripod socket not so reliable. Bought an RS-7 in the end

saw it on clubsnap that some shops are selling it at $80 - $85 ? but can't find the link now ...

but RS7 really dangerous with the clip at the back ... wonder if RS4 is still selling here.

using black rapid RS Sport for 2 weeks trips, never failed me once, less stress (actually i didn't feel any weight at all for 7D with 70-300)
the clip can also attached to the base plate of my sirui tripod, also without fail and never lose

it works better with bigger lens, smaller lens will make the camera wobble following your body movement

have some thought about sunsniper since it has metal inside the strap, review anyone ?

I heard the metal inside the sunsniper would fray, causing the metal threads to poke out of the strap, making it very uncomfortable to wear for the user.

Anywhere other than cathay photo that sells these straps?

I bought mine straight off the Blackrapid website. Including shipping it was still cheaper than local for my Blackrapid Sport.

anyone seen a RS5 around ?

got the rs7 with op\tech loop as fail safe. total spend $109 (95+14). gonna try it out real soon. one small issue is on my pentax with the battery grip, it definitely need some readjusting to the grip.

Also, i foresee the carabiner will stretch my grip or body body over time. what are the protection you guys use at that area?

just got my BR from TK foto last 2weeks! $95!
bought it to thailand last week! been with me thru cycling and fishing!! dun worry abt it dropping!!!

Looks good and awesome. Would it be cheaper if buying in bulk from CP or other shop?

Hehe anyone interested?
