Saw some post saying its about 100+ now.. and saw on black rapid site (with shipping and conversion of abt 1.2+) is abt 80+ to 90+..
so was thinking which one more worth it...

Anyone using the RS7 have the thought of the plastic buckle giving way suddenly or accidentally unbuckle?
If I buy the RS-7, do I still need to buy the accessories - ConnectR-2 (CR-2), FastenR-3 (FR-3), FastenR-T1 (FR-T1)?
Last question, I mostly shoot with a shoulder bag or a backpack if oversea, will the bags affect the RS-7 function? And also I got a BG, anyone using the Black Rapid with BG for vertical shoot? Thanks!

Yes, the plastic buckle is exposed. The worst kind of situation are punks coming right up your back to unclip the strap and send your entire rig onto the ground. So do get the additional fastener that velcros around the entire bucker. That aside, I've seen people just using cable-ties as a cheaper solution.
RS-7 would come with the ConnectR-2 and FastenR-3, you won't need to purchase them separately.
Bags don't really hinder the Blackrapid straps. I put on the RS-7, then my Fastpack 100, then just go forth to shoot. The FastenR-3 would be connected to the BG of my D90, and I have no problems taking portrait shots. The little piece of metal doesn't really eat into the palm, since you shouldn't worry much.

I bought it at CP more than a year ago at above 100 bucks. Quite surprised to find out that the official website now offers the RS-7 for direct shipping to Singapore at about 71USD. That would come to under a hundred local dollars after conversion. Definitely a better deal if the local stores are still retailing it at above 100.
Checked it out, I like how the C-Loop has got a lower profile than BR's FastenR-3, as well as it being compatible to existing neck straps. IMHO, a little costly too!

Uguu?! Where u see the store i see it in the official BlackRapid site leh~ there put USD$58.95 plus delivery charge 12 bucks is 71. convert.. x 1.32? is around 94. So buy from Singapore or Official Shop Better?

CP at Peninsular (the main shop that sells bodies and lenses. Not sure if the other store at Marina Sq would have or not..), or the other more popular stores at Funan, like TK. Could call up the stores for pricing, then see which is the cheaper option.
Perhaps BlackRapid revised their prices after encountering stiffer competition in the market.
