so close n so much detail.. i din know i can reverse the 50mm f1.8.. i feel that it would be better if can see the whole ant's face in the 1st pic, the left side abit in darkness.. your flash was fired from the side? anyway great work man, thanks for sharing.. BTW why you put tape over the "canon" and the "D30" words?:dunno:

I also donno. I just follow what other people are doing. It works as a magnifying glass I think. Kind of like a high quality close-up filter or loupe.
