just wondering, would it be better to go a little wider to show the area and the uh....birds, that they are looking at? would it have worked better together with that caption?

Well, it was a CP990 (38mm), not my D30, and the picture was taken in a clandestine manner.
Besides, they weren't really watching any "birds" I think they were just chilling out. The birds would have been really tiny anyway, on the other side of the building, especially with a wide lens, and I'd only have gotten the back of this guy's head.
Not my best shot, I suppose. Thanks for the suggestion, though. I'll try to get one to that description one of these days (without getting beaten up - "Hit me! Hit me! Just leave my D30 alone! There's no film in there to rip out!")
