Thanks, I bought the FZ28 for its size and long zoom. But I am already thinking about upgrading to a dslr. I keep asking myself, can I get even better captures with a dslr? How much would a dslr and a 300mm lens weight any way?

Right now I can easily carry this one pounder to any where I go.

for the cheapest set up it will be less than 2kg if i am not wrong. body (600g average) + 70-300 VR lens should be less than 2kg.

So about 4x the weight of the Panny. Thanks, I will take that into consideration whether to upgrade or not.

Well done. Your pictures are addictive. This proves a point. A piece of tofu is a lethal weapon in the hands of a master. Cheers.

Bro, Trust me... Don't upgrade :)

The results you get with your Panasonic are much better / sharper than the ones you will get from a 70-300 lens of any camera!

The 70-300 lens itself will cost you $600+ bucks so do consider all that.

Be happy with your pany ;)

damn sharp and beautiful images.

are they kept in enclosure ?
