Thanks. It was my lucky day...I heard some drilling sound and I was wondering if the sound came from inside the tree! I looked around and never saw anything, took a final look before I left and saw this small guy just above me.

Bro, there are 3 models of super zoom that are quite popular for budget birding. Canon's SX, Nikon's P Superzoom and Panansonic FZ, each have their own strengths. Therefore, I usually use the superzoom to go do casual birding. Go before I head for work, try luck for 20mins. Need to get away from the grainy thoughts and you will do just fine.
