Birds are active early in the morning and late afternoon
For me, I usually goes out in the morning 9.30am and end before noon.

Nice shot but some look a bit hazy to me. You should submit one of them for the CS Photo competition. Today is the deadline.

I seriously did not know there are so many kind of birds there. You are amazing..! salute your efforts!

I actually went down to the gardens and the lake...sadly couldnt spot a lot of birds. Found a few herons, sunbirds. Couldnt get a glimpse of any kingfishers. :( Pretty disappointed..but yes, the place is teeming with a lot of buzzard species.

By the way, whats your set up? I use a 600mm (FF equivalent). I want to really fill up the frame... :)

Hi! srinivasanj

I'm using 70-300mm zoom lens with 1.4 teleconverter to reach 425mm (850mm equivalent for 4-3 system) the longest I can.

These birds are small and you have two options: Use the longest lens available or learn how to approach birds without scaring them away. I goes for the later.

I really hope you can find it in your next trip there.
