Guys, I'm looking at the Hadley Small right now, will it fit two Leicas, one with a long lens (like the 90mm elmarit/cron) and the other one with a compact one(like a 35 or 40cron) in addition to 10 rolls of negatives and a small notebook?

Any place where I can take a look at these bags?

Thanks

u can view at K-13 at peninsular plaza. but not sure if they have this model.

alternatively u can contact PK Chan.

anyone using the tripod strap for 335? i cannot find a picture how to use this strap to tie my tripod to 335... was thinking how it would look like before buying it. :)

It just 2 pcs of leather strap.. I am using it and it is like my base for the bag...

anyone can help me with my set up

I need a small bag, hmm.. similar to crumpler 5MD size.
most likely i will have D90 mounted with 17-50mm and SB900 flash and a 30mm.

which of the billingham suit me?

u can get a hadley pro (with enough space to fit a 13 inch laptop). should have some spaces left for future expansion.

You can make them yourself. For it to be able to attach to your Billingham bag, the bag will need to have loops at the bottom. 225/335/445 have them.

anyone sent their billinghams for dry cleaning before with good results? looking to send one of mine to the drycleaners haha....wonder if members here have recommendations at reasonable prices

try international plaza if you work or live near tanjong pagar. there are a few dry cleaners there, prices are very competitive.

i washed my entire bag recently with fab and water

dry clean for what? is washable mar. why would you want to pay more money in the first place is because the bag is hardy... not to pamper your bag and become a slave to it.... it's not a chihuahua, it's a bag!

haaa....not that i want to baby it, just bought a Khaki Alice L2 from a CSer recently, for personal hygiene reasons, just want to get it cleaned properly before using it, also noted some color transfer from the CSer's jeans at the back of the bag, hope that it can be cleaned off......

was thinking of dry cleaning because i'm not sure what water will do to the leather....

wow....din realise "dry" cleaning is actually quite wet ??? that wouldn't work well for the leather would it?

i bought the hadley pro for the sole reason that it was rainproof.

since it is going to be exposed water most of the time when i go shooting, and has been in water a few times.... alongside things like sand, kopitiam floors (the greasy type)... i can't say my bag is very clean, but it's held up pretty fine considering the amount of abuse i hurl at it.

there is a small hole at the top layer of fabric at the stress point (because i cross sling it), but the bag is still pretty much rainproof, as proven last few times walking in the rain.

i washed it, it's still fine. the leather has already been dulled out for the 2-3 years i've been stressing it out... so... i guess it can't really get any worse already. :)

maybe i should cross slinging it, but what's a bag that you can't use the way you use?

anyways, i think it should last at least 5-6 more years of hard, hard abuse... (maybe longer, since i shoot less..) and i've already bought a backup khaki copy.. :D i also happen to have backup bag straps, in case the ones right now don't last (too much stuffing into carry-on bags when i was still backpacking about europe).

so that should settle photography bags until i'm retired. :bsmilie:

I've got the same Black/Tan Hadley Pro for slightly over a year already. Use it everyday as a laptop/messenger/camera bag..;) Really flexible with the removable padding.

So far I only clean it using a lint remover roller as dust and fine sand is quite visible on the black canvas..:)

Cheers,
Andrew

I'm thinking of adding some of the Avea pouches to my Hadley Pro, got my 3rd one the other day! :)

I've seen the Avea 6 on a couple of website online, but it seems to be missing from the Billingham website, does anyone know exactly why? Or will it fit the Hadley pro? Has it been discontinued?

Also for owners for the Avea pouches, can the Avea 5 fit a flash, say a 580exii?

Thanks all!
