Sorry. I wasn't told not to share, thought it is just normal to share the prices, just like prices for other bags/cameras. Anyway, I took it down. Hope tribal.snake can do so too. Cheers.

Nah, no problem. Just that prices are sometimes quite sensitive since he is the distributor.

Bought a Khaki Hadley Pro today.. Hm, seems like I like the sage colour more..

Oh noo.. This one already costed me a bomb. My most expensive bag ever hahaha..

Well, will use this bag for a while. See if I can get to like it as much as the sage color one.

Otherwise, this might find its way to the BnS section :P

Yup yup, there's so many of them thats nice.. One's never enoff..
Its good to own a hadley series, or their 5, 6 or even 7 series.. so is Alice/L2 etc.. ;)

I've a question for you guys esp Hadley Digital owners or any other "handle-less" bags. Whenever you want to lift your bag from table/floor where do you grab? From the canvas strap? Or just grab from the front leather strap?

I find it weird to lift from canvas strap as your hand 11oclock so high just to lift the bag to 7oclock. Assuming you use only one hand to lift. Any ideas? They should have made their bags with a top handle like Hadley pro!

Thanks All

just grab the end of canvas strap nearer to the bag then fling it across your shoulders

its a function of weight... hadley digital so small and weight is not heavy. no big deal to lift up directly with strap.

but if you're talking about the bigger bags, then its quite inconvenient to lift off a huge weight on the straps alone, without a handle.

Sorry to dig this thread but I've found it to be a comprehensive one regarding Billingham bags and how to buy.

I am considering the 107 and 207 and in a bit of dilemma. Price wise, the margin is pretty small, so it's inconsequential for me. In terms of proportion, I find the 107 just nice. The 207 is more spacy at the expense of being a bit wider. I can make some compromise in terms of space to go for the 107 just to look nice. But I am afraid it'll really be too small. I am intending to house at max, a gripped body, 3 lenses (all pretty small, <10cm long, 60mm dia.) and a flash. Anyone has faced this dilemma before? Thanks.

why dun you bring down all your gears to try first before buying? dun picture the setup in your mind... not accurate... ;p

i own the 107 and i prefer it size wise compared to 207. i find 207 too cumbersome for easy movement.

personally, its how u are able to organise and pack cos i can fit in 4 primes (24L+50L+85L+105L) with gripped 5d2 and flash in 107.

the bigger section have 105L below, then the separator horizontally and 85L mounted with gripped 5d2 on top. then the smaller section is basically 24L stacked with 50L, and flash next to these 2 lenses.

i know i can fit one more lens (not fat like 85L but more like 24-105 or 16-35) next to the 105L, but too heavy la.

You are right. Sometimes the choice is clear when you see the physical thing. <:

Actually u can ring up PK Chan and make an appointment and try out all the bags to ur heart content before u commit to buying any.. U should consider 225 and 206 as well, think meet ur requirements :)

hey bro need some input from u all i intend to get a hadley pro, can it put a kx with kit lens, a 70-300mm lens, a 50mm prime and some other stuff like water bottle, wallet or should i get something bigger?? as may intend to get flash and other stuff in the future
btw is it cheaper to get from uk given that the pound is low now??? TIA :)

I think it can fit all those you have mentioned except the water bottle!

the Billingham attachements like pouches are for accessories and don't think a water bottle pouch is produced by them.
