anyway your insert looks unusual... cos usually billingham inserts are soft and pressable... Thats their design so that it can blend into the body shape of the user.

or either the insert is not original... or the previous owner bought a 3rd party insert or he could have pasted the velcro himself for some reasons.

we only suspect the insert is not real cos none of us here have a 3 stripe velcros like yours. But the bag looks real to me i find.

anyway no issues about the signature tag cos PK Chan told me only newer stocks have this.

Yea as i said it less than a year old (stated on receipt) and its from orient .

I compared the insert with the black/tan one and they look excatly the same except for the velcro strips ...

also checked with previous owner who claimed its legit and has the serial number and the patterened design to scan the bag and verify it.

as for the sale I didn't mean to scam or cheat whatsoever...
selling it as i want to get either a hadley small or the L2 as the pro is abit too big and wanted something smaller

i feel that u should keep the bag. hadley small and L2 not suitable for you seeing what equipments u have.

just rem, a bag big enough can put more things in future, a bag small enough will forever be small enough to store things in future.

My 335 have the signature label tag (got it from PK Chan last year).. dun think is limited to 7 series only..

no la, it was introduced with new 7 series, doesn't mean limited to them.

just didn't know they had it for the hadley pro and all other bags as well. that's good to know.

i will, they haven't replied me.

uk is notorious for not replying emails, or replying slow, so might have to wait a while.

that insert is really suspicious. i am only curious, because if OP is selling fake inserts then people should know..... or at least if the person you got it from has replaced the insert, then you should know. nothing you can do about it, of course, but it's good to know if billingham does indeed have an alternative insert looking like that.

Just saw the new 3-stripe pics of inserts on Billingham's online shop page ....

Well, just got poisoned again, now wanting the new fstop f/1.4 bag, lightweight as my L2 (this is my top requirement), and taller than my L2, just right for a DSLR with a long lens. Less depth, but should be just as roomy, got to arrange stuff from bottom to top.

P.S. Correction ... about the same depth when viewed in the flesh. Inserts of the L2 are more flexible for adjustments.

i wanna get a billingham khaki coloured cos it looks awesome and that after i got my 550d bg, it just doesnt fit so well into my 5MDH. keeps feeling like its gonna explode. What would you guys recommand?

1. 550D + BG, 430exII, 17-55mm

2. 550D + BG, 580exII, 17-55mm, 70-200mm f2.8

can recommend me 2 bags for these 2 setups? 1st setup is what i have now. 2nd setup is what i am planning to get in the near future. if was thinking bout just using the 1st setup 1. then have a lowepro fast pack for the 2nd setup as i would bring a tripod along.

any recommendations? thanks.

For 1: Definitely no Hadleys for you :sweatsm:
Would reccomend the L2 or Alice ,which is actually meant for leica but i find it spacious even with a gripped body + space in the front for a flash and accessories .
If still too small then the new f-stop series look good and quite spacious to me ,but generally too big if i just want to carry my camera with 1 or 2 extra lenses ( i use small primes:lovegrin

i reccomend the 5 or 6 or even the 7 series, why dun u head down to PK Chan place and play ard with what he have, easier for u to decide.
