Hi guys, i have a question here, would it be cheaper? if i were to buy Billingham bag at uk instead?

shipping is the cost issue, and a lot of retailers here will not ship outside of uk.

i don't know the current price in singapore, but you can get a billingham hadley pro for 110-115 pounds here. a while back it used to be 99, which is what i got mine for.... but then i'm here, so no shipping costs.

Cause I'm actually intending to ask 1 of my friend to help me with the purchase when he is flying over for work, is it easy to find billingham around uk? Or is there any particular shop I'll have to look at?

Canvas & FibreNyte,
which material is better & durable?

to each have it's pros and cons
FibreNyte, lighter, I felt it rougher, more water res
Canvas, heavier, smother, less water res

The 7 series does not come in canvas, i have a feeling, the newer series will be in FibreNyte.
You have to feel it to feel the difference as well to see what you like, you may view it at quite a couple of places, K-13, OP at Simlim Top floor.
Just my personal comments on the pros and cons, some may view differenly.

i prefer the feel of canvas - very nice and smooth.

fibrenyte is ok... it feels more rugged and definitely more scratch resistant.

you'll need at least the hadley original or the pro (which is the original with a handle & back zip compartment)

Anyway, those who are keen to get the Billingham Hadley Original should do it fast. Understand from Mr Chan that UK has stop production for that. The link for the Hadley Original on the Billingham site has also been take down.

those are new... no info online yet.

basically i understand there are 2 models... one is closer to hadley original size with the new choc brown. the 2nd one is in betw hadley original and small size - this one i think quite nice.

got a question on Billingham models 206 and 225 ,
can a 12.1" laptop fit ? just a little larger than an A4 paper.

cannot seem to find any pictures with a laptop inside those models.

Edit: got the 206 liao hehe, the main compartment can fit a 12'1" laptop , the front zip of a 225 cannot fit. just tot i'd share

These things are addictive, I just picked up a nice Packington, my gf bought a nice Sage colored Hadley Pro over the weekend...I got jealous.

Never own a 307, owned a 335 that can fit in my Macbook

Think not..hmm..but nt sure..

Billingham 307 Dmensions : -

Internal:
Width: 340mm
Depth: 150mm
Height: 220mm

Why not u bring ur macbook and head down to OP (SLM) to try out before u commit?

I just got myself a 207 and it is able to fit in my macbook 13"
thou space might be a bit tight after that, but I have no problem fitting in my macbook + 500D attached with 18-200mm lens and perhaps another few short lenses + flash.

So I guess there shouldn't be any problem with the 307.
