Beware of muk43251 (HP: 9616-3822)

Hi all,

I am sure you all experience your fare shares of inconsiderate or a$$-hole buyers/sellers..
Listing down the kind of stupid things that they do is really not necessary because I am sure some of you have worst experience than me.

And so, please be warned of this muk43251 (HP: 9616-3822)..

If you really need to know, here goes;
This fellow expressed interest in my lens, asked for discounts & I gave.
Ask if I can deal near his place & not at my designated meeting area, I gave in because I managed to make plans to go near his area. FYI, I live in AMK & he asked me to go to Clementi or B. Batok.
After I said okie, he told me he can only deal the next day because he is not around his area that day. (wasted my time in arranging my schedule)

The next day, he told me that he have to delay the deal because he don't have a camera body & can only deal on Sat.
I offered to let him use my camera body to test out the lens & he told me, 'what if I buy canon camera, than this Nikon lens for what?'.
I later told him that if we were to deal on Sat, he has to come to AMK, which he agreed.

Come Saturday morning, I dropped him a SMS & he simply told me he is not buying.

The few things that pissed me off are
1) Asking me to go out of my way for his comfort & not even compromising a middle place for both of us.
2) Looking to buy lens when you don't even know what camera system you are going for.
3) Even if you want to back out of the deal, kindly let the other party know & not just keep quiet & pretend that nothing has happened.

Well, thanks for wasting my time.

Wouldn't say that he is a dishonest buyer, since you guys never met, but rather an inconsiderate buyer. Well, at least he replied your sms to tell you he isn't buying, even though he could've told you earlier. There are those who simply don't reply to smses at all.

To simplify things. It's best to set as first come first serve deal. No reservation, deal with a decisive dealer.

This not hostile. This asking TS questions to thinking before writing and put phone number all this. Like this is giving other people not full information because we not knowing really what happen between muk43251 and TS. It is only one side of story, but already put phone number everything to spoil the muk43251 name and reputation. Even if muk43251 really is inconsiderate, no need to put phone number all this on forum right?

I suspected something wasn't right when he told me that but I chose to accept the delay in dealings.

Yes, though I did not lose money but I made changes to my schedule to drive down to the west side & was then told that he wanted to deal the next day instead.
So yes, other than time I also lose money on petrol.. To me time is money & I am sure many people would agree.

And hey, no offence to you but if you feel that I did the wrong thing, you can choose to ignore my post.
No need to keep coming back to reply what others have to say.

Well no one is preventing muk43251 from defending himself. Nothing wrong with TS sharing his experience.

u know...when someone says delay the dealing by next week etc..its CLEARLY MEANS saying no to deal.

Happened to me most of the time...then i started out the deposit law of my own...

u want me to reserve for u? EXPRESS UR SINCERE IN THE DEAL by placing a non refundable $10 to my account..then we talk about reserving..

so far..this law works..if not dun talk about reserving for grandpa..grandma stories..

Sorry for digging out this old thread because I received a SMS from this number and the way he/she replied me is weird. Decided to do a search in Clubsnap and saw this old thread.

No right or wrong about his action but I just feel that he is a demanding person. Asked for more than $100 discount and demand me to travel to his place when I clearly stated that I only deal at Boon Lay MRT. I did not reply him further because it's not worth my time. (and who knows I go to Clementi and he MIA?)

Just sharing this info here again so please beware of this demanding person.

A little research on this buyer will tell you he is likely a trader or someone who flips immediately on a transaction (all brands he is selling n wantg to buy in his threads) so if he knew a buyer wants to buy x model, he will look for seller n arranges timing n venue that he sell it immediately at a profit to his buyer. So if his buyer postpones or cancels, he does the same the seller....Arbitraging lah..like a broker.l..when his buyer backs put, he is then 'stuffed' with the goods.
