Beware of buying from Diwan

i tot ones nid to b registered as a virtual shop or something to do that???

Yeah but some just use the BNS thread to post their sales cos got more people visiting. And they might not want to register as an advertiser too.

amazing. he just updated so many of his threads saying all items sold.

Maybe he sold to himself? :bsmilie:

TS, why not posed as a new buyer and meet him up. Then bring your lens there to argue your case with him?. But did he says how many days personal guarantee he gives you? Otherwise, you'll be at the losing end as you did not check the lens properly before parting ways.

I have just got back from overseas. Thanks for the advice, I will try that tmr. He gave me one month personal guarantee.

I can't seem to see the links.. Can anyone see?

The number is no more in use? Hmmm, he posted quite a few items for sale the past few days with the same number

This is just for your information.

Please beware of buying from user Diwan. His mobile is 9097.1529.

I bought from him Tamron 28-300 lens and found that the VC is not working. He has given me personal guarantee yet when I try contacting for the past 1 week but unable to get thru his line. A M1 announcement message indicating that the subscriber is not available.

The following are his other sales postings.

It's stupidity of me to be so trusting without doing a thorough checks on the lens. :embrass: Do you detail checking in the future even if the seller seems so nice and very friendly.

Sign, how to feel safe buying from the b&s section?

TS had personal warranty lei.. but the seller never honor. :(

Ya true, but TS also never check thoroughly. Depends on your luck, if you sway then get these kind of dishonest sellers lor :nono:

Basically most people don't give personal warranty, this is also to safeguard the seller too. We cannot just keep thinking of buyers only.

When a product was already in the hand of a buyer, the seller had no control over what the buyer do to their newly bought product, and giving personal warranty is a big risk... for say, if the buyer regretted the purchase, purposely (not saying TS though, just an example that is not targeted at anyone) damaged the object (trust me, there are skunts like that), then request a full refund of the product they bought.

Then the seller will be stuck with a damaged product that he/she knew it cannot be sold.

So... yeah. Most people don't give warranty, buyer would just have to be careful when buying the product and if really sway, got a bad one, call the seller up and talk to him/her honestly then see what to be done.

Yup, I will never give personal warranty. I don't want to pay for any carelessness on the buyer's side.
