R Romulus Member Nov 7, 2002 #1 I know some of you guys make your own... BUT, since I can't, I was wondering if getting the FX1 for the 420EX is worth it. I know a bigger flash would be more effective but a 550EX is way beyond budget. (the 540ez doesn't work with a D30) thanks

R Romulus Member Nov 7, 2002 #3 Doesn't have connector for Battery pack... Almost got it... then got 540 instead... How what do you think??? Get a BB for the 420EX or get a more powerful flash and the BB for it?
