Best price for Fuji F10?

Hi all,
I was told 2 weeks for the 1 x 1gb to come in.
The price is the flyer price $699 with freebies using credit card.
If I pay cash or nets, it is less.
I do not want to quote this amount cos it may not apply to everyone.
GST is something I forgot to ask about. I assume that I may have to pay.
Also, the 0% interest free scheme from the Credit card companies seem very very attractive. I calculated that even with GST, on a 1 yr 0% scheme, I would be paying about $61++ a month or abt $2 a day.
Heng the 1 x 1gb card not there so give me a reason to think rationally first.....

went down to MS Color yesterday, toyed with the F10 for 15mins. Noted the LCD screen does flicker when focusing, is this an issue? checked with the sales person, he said it is becos' the camera is adjusting the white balance (the iso was 800 then). Anyone care to comment? Also noted a slight camera lag, from time you focus to time you snap the picture, or is this inherent in all P&S dc?
Did not get it as they still do not have the 1Gb card, only 2 x 512mb. Shipment expected to come in next two weeks (thot earlier post 1wk ago also mentioned next two weeks). Anyway, will wait ... still deciding between panasonic Fx7, casio S500 and F10.

I think flickering happens with most cameras, not that much of an issue. And the shutter lag/focusing speed is wayway faster than most normal cameras. Personally I find the FX7 too noisy for my liking for the time I managed to play with it. Why not consider the newer models if you're keen on getting Panasonic cameras (the FX 8, FX 9), not too sure about noise though.

Get the F10. Was actually quite determined to get the FX9 after reading online reviews. When I reached MS colour, asked for the FX8,9, played with them for a good 1/2 hour, decided that they were not to my liking. I then asked for the F10 as I had read some +ve low noise reviews. Paid for it within 10mins. I have not looked back since.
Did notice while comparing the FX9 with F10 that the latter's macro mode is much poorer. Probably because of the F10's program choosing bigger apertures everytime. Too bad no aperture priority mode... Otherwise, the F10 would have been perfect.
Got my f10 tdy from southasia tdy. couldnt wait for the f11..hehehe

Got my F10 a couple of hours ago from MS Color can't wait for F11 or the canon 610/620. Needed a compact one since carrying my F602Z for travelling is getting too heavy!!

Have to start learning how to shoot without the EVF!! Hey the functionality is about the same as my F602Z!! of coz the F11 will be even closer with Av and Tv!!
