Best Price for E-PL1 / E-PL2 in the Singapore?

How come u buy epl1 give mk2 leh? Yes the magnification of mk1 is better than2. Sharpness not sure coz not kit lens person, I thought it pretty similar optically

Yes, I was surprised too when I bought it. I think the newer stocks of E-PL1 come with MkII. The box is also slightly different, it says "Zoom Lens Kit II" with picture of the body and lens detached.

Not sure if I'm posting at the correct thread but anyone experience blur pictures when taking night scene shots? What settings should I use? I'm using EPL-2 with 14-42 lens II

It's a better combi, the AF is significantly faster iirc.

Typically night scenes requires tripod if the shutter speed is slower than what you can handhold. Typically I use "A" mode, and if i have no tripod, i will set lowest possible F number to have largest aperture. As rule of thumb, it's 1/focal length sec for handholding, so if you use @ 14mm, you should expect at least 1/14s or faster in order to handhold. Of course a good posture and breathing techniques helps too. However if the lighting condition doesn't allow that speed or what you can handhold, slowly increase your ISO till the speed that you can handhold. But the noise will increase as well. & trial and error and practise;p
Maybe a picture with your setting helps?

Ops! I am also thinking to go down expo this weekend since there is a it fair too! Seem like is not worth to go down..

Know any shop still carrying E-PL2? Called several shops but all said already discontinued

Not sure if you're still looking, but saw a Courts ad for E-PL2 Dual Lens Kit. It's a limited sets offer, but I guess it means Courts does have stock of E-PL2 at least.

Thanks for your advise. I will keep trying. Still a newbie in photography. :)

Something just occurred to me, that 1/focal length thing came from the days of shooting 35mm film, since 14mm in m43 is 28mm in 35mm format, does that mean 1/28 at least? Food for thought hahahahha, just to add on, with proper breathing, holding and stability, like using chairs, tables, lamp poles, walls etc, it is possible to break the 1/focal length rule, with IS or without IS, Mikefellah, if you're reading this, you shot 2 secs without IS or any form of fixtures right?

Keep shooting, only way to improve is to do that

Yes. The 1/fl rule is based on 35mm eq focal length.

Anyone buy from G-market for E-PL2?
How is the delivery?
Thanks!

I was planning anything, but was going through t.v. channels tonight and one of the t.v. sales channels had the E-PL1 with 14-42mm lens at an interesting price, just for today: US$299.95 and you can get it for 5 payments of US$59.99. I don't know if they'll ship out of the country but you could always check.
