if you're looking at staying with canon, G1X or maybe S100.

guys/gals, one of member here offer his Fuji x100 camera to me at 1200sgd is it fair enough? camera was just bought last june. any pointer to consider prior closing this deal. thanks!

Hi sab, think $1200 is abit too ex for e 2ndhand camera. New set at Harvey Norman selling at $1499, whereas if im not mistaken Artworkfoto selling at $13xx. Check with them. Sometimes i find those ppl selling their 2ndhand camera are not selling at a reasonable price, jst bcos they hv some accessories to add thus increase their selling price to buyer at e high price. Do call/find out more abt e orginal price b4 purchase any of e 2nd hand cameras n stuffs online. Hope this helps.

hi Orkid thanks for great great adviceb...sure I will take note of this btw, is the lens of x100 can interchange? I'm checking with fuji for different type of lenses for this but found so hard. thanks. pal.

The Samsung EX2 should be out soon and with its F/1.4 max aperture and F/2.7 at max zoom, quite decent for lowlight or supposing you need high shutter speed. Just that whether 3x zoom is enough for you or not.

hi Guys/Gals how about Sony NEX-5N I reviewed it and did some research and its quite good as similar output with fujifilm x100 and quite cheaper too. and good part theres a lot of lens that you can choose from. any feedback about this machine?

Sony NEX 5N is a respectable camera, it shared the same sensor as a couple of DSLR from Nikon and Pentax, and the image output is very very good... High ISO performance is incredible... and it is a mirrorless interchangeable lens system, which mean you can change the lens to suit different shooting style and stuff like that... but you already know that don't you. Fujifilm X100 is a fix lens camera... and a fix prime lens camera at that. Its AF is not amazing and you might be hard press trying to shoot moving kids (not that it cannot be done, but you need lots of practice and the correct skills and stuff).

If I were you, I would just go for the NEX 5N.
