Best Place to Purchase Canon DSLR (550D)

So, I'm fairly new to S'pore (though I have been visiting frequently for over 15 years).

I am familiar with some of the mega stores like Challenger and Harvey Norman. But between the zillions of stores at Sim Lin, Funan, etc., its difficult to tell which stores are reliable and reputable.

Any thoughts on where to get the best deal from a reliable store?

Ideally, I'd like a place with enough selection so that I can become a frequent customer... Thanks!

Have a look at the Price Guide section, e.g. Canon Price Guide. Right on top there is a list of reputable shops.

Can recommend Alan Photo at Funan. Very knowledgable sttaff. Good prices. have been around for quite a while so likely to still be there if you have a problem a few months after buying something. Be very very careful at Sim Lim !!!

if you are not local, i'd recommend staying away from the less reputable shops
or get a local to buy for you, look for a place which you can claim back your gst when you go off
