Best lens for the D90

I thought it was other way around.. body only out of stock and kit lens set widely available.. D90 is really in demand.. :)

At that particular point in time, kits were quite high on demand, and the asking prices from shops who do have them are asking for ridiculous prices. I managed to get the body at a reasonable price although it came in a kit box without the kit lens.

thankz 4 d reply bro.. u mean i have to study on my own ar.. but then i did tried dat n sadly d pix has d same prob ar..eg blurr, color nt sharp etc2.. haiz

Blur might either be caused either by handshake caused by an inappropriately slow shutter speed or not focussing properly. Colour might be due to the white balance that is set.

Yups same as for me.

55-200 is sharp, light and good though lacking in contrast imo, gotta push it up in pp. Just hope that the plastic mount doesn't break because of my carelessness :bsmilie:

Beautiful photos:thumbsup: taken with kit lens. It'll be 1 of the lenses i'l keep for life! BTW did U do any further post-sharpening or they came out like that? U must be Pro:think:

Not pro, first DSLR :)
The photos are really sharp, and i did PP on most of them, but didn't need to sharpen them honestly.. that's why i think the kit lens is good enough for most purposes... i'll never sell it.. cos at our newbie standards, i think we're the limiting factor, not the camera :)

Absolutely correct:thumbsup:

That's why after chasing for 10 lenses I'm getting really tired (& broke:cry:) so I guess I better start 'sharpening' up my skills & not depend on the cam or lenses before I really need to eat grass:sweatsm:

My best lens for D90?
UWA 11-16 for those tight spots or group photos or landscapes
Kit 18-105 for general walkabout daytime
28-75f2.8 for general indoor & night
80-200f2.8 for concerts or candid streets
50f1.4 or 35f1.8 for ambient light & creative use:devil:

I bought a UWA 11-16 (tokina of course) and 35mm F1.8
With the kit lens... these 3 good enough for most stuff... just no range haha... but i can live with that (for now) ;p
