Best DEAL for Canon 550D

Hey Guys!!

Am looking for the best deal for this camera.

Courts Singapore is ofering $1449 for KIT 1 including 8gb memory card,tripod,crumper bag n etc

Anw where that actually offer the same package yet cheaper?
my fren actually mention a shop at funan that sell is kit 1 ard 1.2plus,but not sure of its free gifts etc since my fren just went oversea.

hopefully some great people will be able to help me.since am getting the cam most likely this week.

The free gits from the shop @ funan will definitely include the following free gifts

FREE GIFTS
1) SD 8GB card,
2) EOS Messenger bag (S) or EOS tote bag
3) EOS 550D User guide

Reason being, these are free gifts given by Canon Singapore.

Adding on, the free gifts by Courts with regards to 3 free gifts listed are also from Canon and not from Courts.

There is NO shop with the 'best deal' whatsoever.

We have a list of recommended shops here and you can take a look and start calling/emailing them for a quote which will be 99.99999% CHEAPER than Courts which sells at RRP...

mum is such a fan of them! Lol. But ofcus I wanna save alittle n see if I could get a better deal.
So any promising area or shops that I should walk ard n ask around?

These tripods they give you free are cheapo and unstable ones.Either sell it off to others who are karang guni or use it as a light stand.Save up your money for a better tripod instead...

As mentioned by others.

The free tripod well is worth around $30+/- and build wise isn't very good.
Use the savings to buy a more decent one in time to come.


P.S. Free gifts aren't exactly free, the costs are already factored in


You can try TK Foto on the 2nd floor and SLR Revolution on the 4th.
I have purchased items from them before and i like their prices

check out parisilk.. i got mine kit 1 at less than SGD 1300. Same free gifts as all other shops is offering.
