Best bag for walk around?

this is cheap and good =) this seems to be good for walk around... I might check this out see how it looks =)

I have few bags like Kata 3N1-22 nice small but a big thick specially when you're carry the tripod via tripod holder. I also have also crumpler 7MDH I find not too small not to big also and free lowepro 140 by Sony these 3 are my walk-about bags. But your bag seems interesting :)

At first i was thinking of buying the kata sling bag which mustafa was also selling. its a bit bigger but the price is about $100+ so i was hesitant, anyway when i went to that shop my 3 kids and my wife tagged along.. end up i payed much more for the treat i gaved them. ( i could have bought the kata bag and some spare to go if i went there by myself).

i also have those shoulder type bag like the once being given for free when you buy a dslr but i dont like bringing it.

Sir, may I know the floor in mustafa where I can find this bag? this is really good considering the price is $39.

1st floor just in front of the camera displays.

MS is selling the passport sling for $65. It's a $10 difference from CP.

Got my khaki passport sling from there. So far so good.
Nice bag to carry around but if you have an ipad, it still takes some maneuvering to get it into the bag nicely.

It's a good bag for the price. I feel confident that no one knows I'm carrying a cam inside.

hey guys, how much gear can the passport sling fit?

body with grip? 2 or 3 lenses thereabout?

am looking to get one smaller bag for walk around as the bags I have now are pretty big like the crumpler schrinkle. don't think it's necessary to carry such a huge bag always. ;)

thanks!

When I removed the compartment form the passport sling, my daughter used it as her carry bag/handbag.

i'm using it with the following:

D90 (gripped) wif 24-70 attached, hood reversed. i shifted the compartment cushion to the back of the bag and padded the bottom of the bag wif extra cushion from my previous bags. At times, i just fold a towel or tee shirt and use it as bottom cushion for the camera.

for the compartment cushion, i hv a tokina 11-16mm, 85mm (in pouch), 50mm, S90, Remote controls, memory card holder, lens pen and a blower.

still hv space inside to put 6 MacDonald's Miniatures toy and a book... wahahaha

got it from TK at $55.. they hv black, khaki and blue as of ytd. When i bought it couple of months back, they only hv black. CP retailing at $57

mmhmm okay thanks so much, this really helped!

will probably head down some time soon to take a look. :D

Just got the passport sling from TK as well.. It can hold A55 with 18-250 attached, blower. Lens pen , 2 extra memory card, 2 extra batteries, USB cable and a water bottle. Still enough space for wallet and other small items. It's a good bag to use.

I can fit my 500D w/18-200 or 90 macro. w/ grip you can adjust the box compartment inside the bag that has velcro. Check this Lowepro link for the alternate view of the bag and see #8 for the box compartment.

hey, I am interested in the lowepro passport sling and went down yesterday to have a look. not sure if my 60D with battery grip can fit inside though. do you have any idea?

asked the salesman and he told me a camera body with grip may not be able to fit in unless I adjust the interior of the bag.

am hoping that my 60D with grip + a lens attached can go right in without having to remove the lens before storage. also, do I need to adjust the interior or remove the compartment (I hope not!) to do this? will it mean less space to put other lenses into the bag - room for 2 other lenses, enough?

would like to hear from you about this! thanks! :D

hmm any battery grip on your a55? any space for other lenses to fit into the bag?

hey, I went down to take a look at the bag yesterday. didn't have my equipment with me so couldn't try fitting them in.

curious, how do you fit your D90 with battery grip + 24-70 attached inside? into the compartment? lens in first, and body at the top? maybe try describe how you fit it in?

am keen to get this bag but I'm hoping my 60D with grip + one lens attached can fit into the bag without the need to remove the lens from the body. when I saw the bag yesterday I thought that this might be a challenge.

also, after putting a body with grip + one lens attached in, will it mean much less space to put other lenses and items? couldn't really visualise how you fit your D90 with grip + 24-70 attached, 11-16, 85, 50, s90 and accessories into that bag!

likely the equipment that I'll bring in the bag on a "light" shoot will be quite similar to yours. one body with grip + one lens attached, and probably intending to have ample room for 2-3 other lenses. oh and also might carry my compact canon powershot G10. and some accessories. very similar to yours!

thanks so much in advance! :D

oh and one more thing, anyone finds this bag feminine? :dunno:

that was how my friend felt when I recommended him the bag.

There is no grip for a55. I still have 1 compartment for addtional lens.
