Just an additional 'click' on the command dial when selecting the release mode to switch from remote --> timer + remote

Actually, in Nikon D80/D90, it is very simple either ways, wireless remote, or timer delay. Just one press of the button and a turn of a dial.

the point was regarding setting up remote + timer instead of remote only, hence you get photographed with the remote in your hand, pointing at the camera.
