Guys any recommendation on the F stop and stutter speed to take sharp and nice doggie pictures?
My 50mm f1.8 is not fast enough and focal length too long...

If 50 f1.8 not fast enough.....how about 35 f1.4?

yup, if you felt that 50 the focal length too long then use 35..
but for the aperture, i would prefer around 2 or 2.8 :x ~
but since you said that you want faster than 1.8 then only thing is to wack 1.4 lo

but still kit lens would able to take nice dog pictures.

nice dog! its sharp too.. actually F1.8 consider very fast liao.. how fast u wan it to be?
if u r referring to take photo in broad daylight.. ur F1.8 is actually more than enough to shoot. getting 35, 24mm would means u will be getting very very close to your subject due to the DOF.
35 f1.4 quite expensive right?
ya.. it is expensive.. at least 1k.

Thanks guys ! I am thinking of shooting indoor and this dog of mine is not very cooperative .. .
Had a tiring bugs shooting outing today .. Hmmm think shoot landscape more suitable for me . Getting old already .

Morning.Anyone wants to shoot on Mon?Thinking of sunrise:think:
