Beginner/ budding/

Hi all,

CuriousCharlie's call for collaboration highlighted one of the difficulties of film making.
So this is a good time to start a beginner film making group.

Why? As a group, we have enough manpower to rotate the roles. Learn thru re enacting movie scenes, lighting, sound, editing and acting. Yes, we need to act too.
How big a group? 5 turning up for a session should be enough for learning fun.
What if 100 join up? Re enact World War Z. I'll play Brad Pitt.
What if i have no gear? You are probably more interested in acting, which is fine too.
When? A weekend afternoon or evening, once a month. Stay committed for as long as it interests you.
Who is going to guide us? Initiative, you tube and Movies.
Who is in charge? You are in charge of your own learning journey. I am just facilitating like minded folks.

Fingers crossed. Let's give it a try.
We'll start off with Thaipusam(documentary) at night if keen.

Indeed，eventually with a small group, we can help each other make short films.

So those of you sitting on the fence, don't think too much. Just plunge in and give it a try.

after a few times, will get more used to each other's shoot/edit preferences

just fyi, gardens by the bay is having some interesting events this fri and sat, and i will be down to shoot some videos (evenings), and whoever's interested (and free) are welcome to join in ... just drop a line here or PM me your mobile and we can coordinate
