Beercan?

That lens is NOT the beercan, and is just the standard 75-300 kit lens. Poor quality, really.

Anyway, there's also big beercan, which is 1st generation metal bodied 75-300 lens..

FYI. There are 4 versions of 75-300 after the big beercan lens.
75-300 is referred to as big beercan, and it is referring only to the 1st gen 75-300 minolta lens.

to most ppl beercan is referrin to the 70-210 f4 only :thumbsup:
there are mini and big beercans too~

well, i needed a 75-300m in my case im quite happy with this so call kit lens. Well its body is made of metal instead like the sony 300m kit lens, and its heavy and big..

not a beercan family but still a good lens with a good review compare to the current kit Sony75-300mmf4.5-5.6.

I have been trying to find a Beercan at a decent price but keep on getting out bid on Ebay by small amounts.
I guess ill have to be patient or just decide to pay some more.

Yup. Beercans pop up on the CS Marketplace regularly.

I got mine from ebay. Had to be patient to find a good deal as it's in good demand. Same goes for the B&S in CS. Have to contantly be on the look out for this 'legendary' lens. there is another version of 70-210mm but it is 4.5-5.6 which is much cheaper for obvious reasons.
