Good timing & shot

Thanks for your comments. :)

Just very lucky to capture this image, usually the sand unloading is done at the construction site which no photographer is allowed, but this time it happen at the location just next to restaurant, bar and KTV which are open to the public. It was very close and too close for comfort, staying there too long is no good for the health.

Hi Silverpine,

Some very wonderful images here. IMHO however, your usage of ND grads is a tad strong at times. The reflection of the waters in nearly 100% of situations is never brighter than the sky. It is however very evident in a number of your images so you may wish to take note. :)

Thank you for the suggestion, will take into consideration next time.

For sunset photographic my usual style is getting the exposure correct for the Sunset include sky and clouds (75%), follow by the foreground (20%) and the others which include the reflection of water (5%) in that order. The long exposure result in more reflection brighter than the sky will manage it if possible. :)

Left the office with bright sunlight, hoped to capture some nice sunset, did not expected to see sky fully covered by thick clouds. This was the best I was able to capture for the day.

This was yesterday sunset, went there with my event/street photographic lens not the usual landscape lens, disappointed with the result and still searching for a good location with good foreground for the sunset.

For landscape photographic I usually go for the 20-35mm lens or sometime 17-40mm lens. I found that for that extra wide or mm you have the options or luxury to include some of elements in the foreground to further improve the photo composition. Anyway, I am happy to be there and had the chance to capture that Beautiful Sunset.

Managed to capture today's sunset under the rain clouds for a short moment before it disappeared again behind the clouds. The distance JB skyline was soft due the result of the rain earlier.

During noon time today the radio mention the outside weather temperature was 33 degree C, I was in a traffic jam the outside of my car temperature show 40 degree C, maybe it was not the reason why the three cars in front of my car had a chain collision. The sunset for the day is nice but with some haze (55 PSI for last 24 hours), which it create a soft image.
