This was my 2nd time shooting at Lower Peirce Reservoir, still trying to look for good angle and composition. Saw many photographers today during sunset time.

Thanks again for your kind comments. :)

Nice! I think I saw you :bsmilie:

Thanks and nice to "meet" you.

So, you must the one of the photographer --- using Lee GND filter sitting at the reservoir bank, or with foots in the water, or using EF 24-70 L w/o GND, or shooting very close to the ground using tripod, or shooting hand held with Nikon, or running after monkey (after stealing a bag of ?), or shooting with five young ladies or etc just too many photographers last night. :)

Haha, I was actually in the water. Got myself really drenched...

Interesting, why you are the only person shooting at the angle opposite to the sunset ?

Hmm, was I shooting opposite direction to the sun? I was pretty close to the rocks in the water. Nevertheless nice shots from you :)

Nice shot here! I've visited the reservoir a couple of times, but always during weekend where the bank is flooded by people...

btw, for this shot, did you get your feet into the water? Usually, I will be shooting from the perspective of shot #71

Thank you for the comments.

For pic#72 I was shooting on the bridge of pic#71, top down angle but not with the feet into the water. I had taken many photo with different angle and locations for the boat (pic#72), this angle gave one of the best reflection of the sunset. There is not right of wrong angle, just compose the best photo for your eye. :)

First time shooting at Sembawang Park's Jetty, one lesson learned, never shoot on wooden jetty. For long exposure, when someone walk around me, you got blur sunset photo.

Unable to shoot the sun drop to the horizon, this is the best that could be done at the location of the jetty.

Went back to Woodlands Waterfront for shooting, there were haze during sunset time which gave the photo a soft look. A CPL filter was added which help to produce a more rounded shape for sun.

Switch to a German brand CPL, with produced a total different WB compare to my previous CPL, the color is more toward cool blue tone.
