Thank you for your comments. I was busy recently, no much time for shooting. Last two photo taken yesterday, sun just drop below the rain clouds for a short period of time and light up the clouds with red color, very strong contrast and not so nice for sunset photo.

The pic#44 was taken at 7:12pm, camera shooting toward East direction. pic #45 taken at 7:08pm with bright contrast clouds for a short period of time before sun sink behind the distance buildings.

wow, very nice getting a better picture now on the GND. one query on your #48 u stack up the CPL & GND8 filters. in that case the crane on the left should the upper half ( sky background) be darker due to the GND ?

This is the first time I post photo CPL stack with GND, thank you for your comments.

under the hot sun GND with CPL the top portion tend to be under exposure, the effect like stacking two GND together. I took many shots CPL with/with out GND under the hot sun, the best result was the photo with CPL only.

But, when the sun go under the hill or clouds, stack CPL with one or two GND when shoot toward the sun direction it show less under exposure at the top of the photo. In addition, controlling the GND also important, must constant push GND up/down to avoid under exposure on the top. :)

Your question "in that case the crane on the left should the upper half ( sky background) be darker due to the GND ?" I do not have an answer now, when I check with my other photo yesterday against with photo in the past with same location with GND only the result were different. Need to play more with the CPL. :)

Thank you for the comment. Love the sunset, taking sunset from high floor sometime lack foreground objects for the composition, need to work on this issue.
