Beautiful Sunset Today

You can visit Lim Chu Kang jetty on a clear day if you like to see one. It can get really orange, sometimes with red glow during sunset. Can't bring camera though cos the PCG guys will shout at you. What bro silverpine shown in #105 is as close as you can get to the real thing.

Yes wolfton i know some time the sun set or rise is very yellow or orange or reddish too...i saw and took b4 as what that day was looks like....the color is in tonal range...very nice...thx wolfton. Thx silverpine for showing ur pics ;)

My friends who are in the construction industry in JB keep telling me to BBB.....but me no $$$

Better don't go for the launches.....I strongly believe such places are as poisonous as CS

Actually I noticed East side have more locations then the west, but maybe more for sunrise. West side have good locations too, but not enough rocks and stilts if your interest is more in nature rather than modern architecture. The best place is in my opinion, LCK jetty, but I can't shoot due to security reasons....

The market is flooded with money due to US and Japan central bank printing money for years, and also with the low interest rate in Europe, money sitting in the bank do not earn much interest. Current world economic is not too good, that is why most of the central bank keeping the interest rate as low as possible and try to improve the economic by flooding the market with money. With high property level the young generation had found it hard to purchase their dream home. Someday in the future the low interest rate will end, and supply of money will decrease. It will create a different world from now.

Your are right, new launches very very poison.

I am more interested in nature landscape. You mention LCK Jetty any security problem, or not safe to take photo there ?

It is one of the safest place in the whole of Singapore to take pictures, but sadly, you can't because the sun set behind the Police Coast Guard base there, and you are not allowed to shoot pictures of any security installations in Singapore, it is a chargeable offence.

It is a good place to view the setting egg yolk behind the crafts though, very beautiful sight.

Thank you for the information, also do a search on Internet about LCK Jetty, a lot of nice sunset photo appear. Will visit the jetty in the near future. :)

Please keep the photos coming. No worries about shooting on Lim Chu Kang jetty as you can see from my entry earlier in this same thread. Another place should be Raffles Marina with its boats and small lighthouse.

Now these days, having any sort of job is better than no job. Steady on.

Thanks for the information. For Raffles Marina's lighthouse, must hide the camera from the security guard, last time I was stop by the security guard by asking if I had the permission to take photo there from the admin office during office. During sunset time is after office hour, so I would not go back for the sunset again. For that lighthouse if you are stop by the security guard it will be too late to drive to another location close by for sunset.

Thanks Daoyin, however here is living hell. have to make a move to salvage pride if not will look down on myself ...

rcheong1282, long time did not see your posting, hang on to your job. Now the manufacturing sections are going through a very tough time ahead. With high overhead and rising cost in most areas, it is just very very hard to survive. High cost in housing, transportation and etc just make us hard to breavthe.

Not so great of the sunset today, trying out stacking the GND soft 0.3 and 0.9. Today's sunset gave WB more toward gray/blue, pp the WB was much easy.

The result will be better if I used the GND 0.9 hard which do not have at the moment.
