Can I take the taxi entry exam, do all the necessary checks first then hold the license and not drive till a later time?
Or is there a rule that once you acquire your license you must be on the road?

I do have frens holding the VL but has yet to drive a taxi

Part time cabby has fixed driving schedule which means regular income every time.

Freelance photographer will only eat air if there is no job.....

Yah lor. Some people just anyhow think take picture very easy to make money.

Yes, u can pass the TVL first and hold the license. License renew every 3 years and you will need to attend every six years refresher course.

This is precisely the reason why only some have the determination, perseverance and patience to stay on as a freelance photographer.

one other requirement. must be over certain age, like 30 or 35 y.o. pls check.

You also need to be a healthy Singapore citizen.. this must be one of the few jobs in Singapore that only requires SG Citizens
