The ep3 single kit is sold at $1190.

12mm is definitely worth the price. Its almost like a solid piece of metal. Call them to check the price though, not convenient to tell here my price. btw, its very limited in quantity as of now.

Malaysia official price is RM2699 for SLK n 8gb sd card. But can get at RM2559 which works out to SGD1048 based on xe.com rates.

I'm the happy owner of a silver! The retro look with a black lens really looks awesome. IMHO white and black lose the retro appeal somewhat.

I did get the first silver at MS color *grin*. Some other guy arrived right after me and took the second (and last) silver there though..

First impression, tried the EP3 with my 20mm, 14-150 and 7-14.. Can feel that they focus much faster than my EP1!
Of course, the kit lens 14-42 beats all these lens hands down. Hopefully there will be se firmware updates for the body with these lens to boost up the AF further. But till that happens, still very satisfied with the overall AF improvement!

how was the kit lens ? I have the 14-42 version I (EP1 kit) and version II (EPL2 kit)..and both are disappointed. c

Optically? Have not download pix to view on monitor yet, but my guess is that it will be the same as ver 1 and 2... It's a kit lens
But AF Speed, it's WOW.
I tried in store the 12mm too.. Blazing fast too! And a nice lens...

There is already a firmware update for 14-42mkII and 14-150 here. It's stated to improve AF speed on EP3

i don't think you can get it at 2599RM, i have not heard m'sia
shops sell lower than pre-order prices in the USA.

the MRSP is 3199RM on the camera with single kit lens. shops
are retailing it at around 2800RM to 2900RM with a 8GD card.
you can bargain for a free screen protector at that price. but
they are not many units around.

have you updated the firmware for the 1442II MSC on the e-pl2?
the AF speed is suppose to perform as well as the e-p3.

he meant e-pl2 tho'.

Updated the firmware on my e-pl2, can sense that 14-42II msc lens focus is faster now.

i am not worried about the AF speed, it is all secondary.
rather it is the optical quality (sharpness, resolution, render the right color) that is a bit let down.
