and what do you mean by "performance venues where photography is prohibited"?

If you just use the LCD display to agar-agar frame the shot, then maybe can still be tolerated but if you want to examine if the shot just taken is sharp enough in focus or not, I would seriously doubt anyone could do it in bright sunlight.

Performance venues like Esplanade, Indoor Stadium, Marina Bay Sands Theaters, etc where the organisers prohibit the photographing of shows being performed there. I like to shoot such performances and so I find the EVF very useful.

The VF-3 is now available in Sg. Not sure about price though. The VF-3 is also supposed to be smaller than the VF-2.

Not cheap leh, as I remembered calling SLR for a VF2 quote a couple of months back, VF2 was $320.

I am not sure if this has been posted already but here is a visual comparison between the VF2 and VF3, the price is really not that big of a difference here in Singapore. About $50 difference between the 2 depending on where you buy it and both are above $300.

From the look of it, may be the VF2's bigger peephole is more comfortable??

Yes I have both of them, I personally prefer the VF2 over the VF3, size difference is negligible and the locking pin is really not very secure. When I first got it, I just pulled it off without realizing there was even a locking pin and it came off without much resistance.

If budget is not a problem, get the VF2, higher magnification, higher resolution. Just have to becareful that it does not fall off

VF2 is $330 while the VF3 is $60 cheaper. The VF2 is much better than the VF3 in terms of clarity.

May I know whats the use of EVF? Cos i search webby, mostly said it used for manual focus.
If I'm using auto focus mainly, so it would be useless?
Please correct me if I'm wrongly info.
