The Basic Photography Course is the foundation module for anyone with minimal knowledge in the technical and aesthetic aspects of photography. You will learn the basics of photography and progress through to the stage where you can use your camera confidently and creatively. This course is conducted over 5 workshops in conjunction with 3 field trips where participants will have the opportunity to put their new skills into practice under the supervision of their instructor.

Since the course is divided into topics and it runs throughout the year, should you miss any workshop or field trip, you are welcome to join another session at a later date at no
extra cost.

About the Photographer
Ken has been involved in photography since 1991Trained in Australia, he has a diploma in Applied Photographic Technology as well as a degree in communications where he majored in photography. Apart from being a freelance photographer in various commercial assignments, he also gained valuable experience with the Newcastle Herald, The Maitland Mercury (Australian newspapers) as well as with The Straits Times.

Certificate
A certificate of participation will be given to participants who completes at least 80% of the course.
