My band is currently looking for a photographer. (STUDIO SHOOT ONLY) *No outdoor shoot please*



Here's some examples of what we're looking for.





The Band's Budget is around $200 - $250 (Studio Cost Included in this price)

We would like to have a few group shots, individual shots and individual with instrument shots.

We would need the RAW files too.

Looking to shoot around 8th / 9th March.

studio rental for a big group is about $35 / hr already, you definitely cant do in just 30mins... so how much do you earn doing this shoot... you do the math, whoever takes up this job

Some wannabe bands think they will be famous and ask for free photo shoot.

just use the black wall will do. one or two umbrella lightings with speedlite

Look at the requirements or should I say demands AND his history, basically a "budget" man. As usual, good luck to any goondoos who take up this "job".

To some people they might think, "Hey, I can get some one to practise my portrait shoots and they still paying me. not a bad deal! On lar!"

and I saw someone posted this,

"Someone who is very motivated and not too expensive."
I am looking for someone who truly knows what they are doing. I would like pictures taken at the church then to the park with the wedding party, and bride and grooms parents. Something simple but very nice, something I can look at and always remember how beautiful my big day ways.

So I guess most people posting service request thinking photographers are just some one doing for passion, it seem like full time photographers need to find some part time jobs to sustain their business liao.

to those who think want to make living on photography....... think again. before you plunge your hard earn saving into this trade.
to those who just want to some extra pocket money........ there are tones of people willing to shoot for free, and using better gears then yours, what is your odds for make some quick bucks??

- Individual shots (AGAIN more adjustment of lights, test shot, posing etc)
- Individual with instrument shots (EVEN MORE adjustment of lights, test shot, posing etc)

- FIXED DATES (8/9 March)
- EXPECT PRO standard (based on image references)
- LIMITED time slot (WHOLE PROCEDURE BE COMPLETED within TWO hrs)

Total cost: <$250 (don't forget booking of studio cost included)

I know.
Relax, I was just commenting on one particular photo.

I know some of the beginners might take non paid job for the portfolio, experience etc.
I've been in their shoes too.
I shot wedding for free, events, etc. just to get my name on the credit and freshen my website.
But yeah, I think this is too much. Requirement doesn't seems for a beginner too.

Shoot for credit, shoot for experience, shoot for exposure, and don't mind receiving petite reimbursement, that might work last time if you just starting out.
nowadays everybody has a DSLR starts calling themselves a photographer, there are far more photographers then customers/clients nowadays if you still have not notice this.

sorry for being so blunt, there are tones of people willing to shoot for free or low price here, and this is the kind job offers we have seen everyday.

So yeah, if anyone want to have some fun and thrills for shooting people, please go ahead and contact TS.
but if you want to put food the table for yourself and family, sadly to say this is not a place for you to hang out.
