For this shot, i had to drive 2km in complete darkness in the forest before arriving at the beach, was really a nerve wrecking experience ;p

Beautiful light - pity about the lack of detail in the rocks though. Not a fan of black masses.

Yes the underexposed rocks is quite an eyesore, perhaps i should have tried a different composition without the rocks, however i reached the beach late, and magic light was already unfolding right before my eyes haha.

Next time can layer another picture exposing for the rocks, if you have a tripod. Nice series btw, quite a few good pictures here. Makes me miss Bali.

Yup i was using a tripod for that shot. Thank you for the tip, i will try that technique next time! Yes Bali is awesome, beautiful island with very friendly people. Totally enjoyed my stay there.
