Wow, I'm simply amazed at how close you managed to get to the Mola-Molas. Very beautiful shots!

I believe the dives with the molas were in Crystal Bay... i not sure coz the water was too freaking cold and my brain was not really working after the manta Pt dives... I followed this group of photographers who seem to know what they were doing...
I believe the temp of my dives ranged from 20 to 22 degrees C with mola... BTW, the manta Pt dive was colder...

Thanks Cityofangles. I did get quite close... i guess i was lucky coz the ones i snapped was nonchalant and went abt his cleaning... I managed to get within 2 feet on a 20m lens. the rest of the dives also had molas but was hard to get to coz there was currents and they were killer currents... up down left right...

i think it wasnt fun carrying a camera and fighting the current at the same time ....

Would you mind me asking the dive operator you used on your trip? I'm planning to go there this coming Oct. Are the Mola-molas still there by that time?

as much as i wish to shoot such nice photos, i guess my phobia is swimming with these fishes! not sure why but since young i saw those big fishes @ underwater world i hum already!! like so big can attack you anytime..haha wishful thinking but i'm still admitting i'm afraid of being in the big sea.
