Bali 2016

Badung Traditional Market, Denpasar
Flexaret VII, Shanghai GP3 100
Caffenol C-M RS, 13mins @ 20°C

Impressive results with the Flexaret VII.
Certainly an underated TLR indeed.

Lots of distractions and too many snaps.
I've not got back to processing my shots with so many activities going on.

Managed to do this one today.

Not the best of conditions, but its was really cool and calm here.
Especially so with a coffee and some goreng pisang. :D

Did they seal off the cliff path already? It was open to all the last time few times I went there. It is not that dangerous actually, just a couple of spots to take note of.

they put restriction sign and small fence, but sure you can still go down if you want, just jump over the fence. saw a balinese boy swimming there alone happily.

Oh ok. There was a sign since long ago, not sure if it is the same one now. But the fence is new. Seeing the photos, seems like the tide is really very high, so you guys are right not to go down anyway. Great pics BTW.

Kintamani

I think this area is far better than the rip off place we visited the last time which only had a view of the volcano.
I did not mind the price, but they could have given something more decent for the food or drink.

This location is nicer.
Its relaxing, pretty neat and clean looking and food+coffee is a decent price.

Wow jk, you have lots of good photos from Bali!

Agree with ranchy. Your many pictures really gives a fresh perspective to this much visited tourist attraction. It shows us that there are still much to explore. Thanks for your dedication and sharing.

Near Batur Village

An amazing colors for the sunrise, but it was fleeting, perhaps also due to the shifting clouds and mist.

The shot near Batur Village had ended after the nice light had gone.
So I turned my attention to a couple doing their pre-wedding shoot instead. :)

I really envy one local shooter who was shooting from the same location as us.
He basically drove the 3hr drive here, took the sunrise and left.
Probably can do that every weekend till the best conditions are met.

Driving 3+hrs of mountainous roads in the dark hours in the morning is no joke though. :D

But hor, for the next few decades of his life it will be the same scene all over and over again lol. At least Singapore's skyline is constantly changing haha.

Nice street shots in this thread! Love the colors and toning :)

Don't know that I would bet on that...SG skyline surely has changed in just a few decades...Asia is back! I bet just a few decades ago that man couldn't have made that drive or even had a camera.

lesson learned: don't anyhow trust and follow GPS

This place... wah... got GPS also no use. :D

Thanks, glad you like the shots.

SGP is not change, "Constantly Improved" :D
Bali is also changing it seems.
Tambalingan Lake dried up, even this site (Batur village) is being mined.
I'm not sure how much consciousness is being put there to keep what they have (I hope there is some... )

Sanur Beach

20160531-IMGP1551 by jenkwang, on Flickr

Skipping sequence a bit with a shot from Sanur.
The only 2 days with a nice sunrise, but seas were so choppy and high it was past the breakwaters in the distance.
