Bali 2016

Tide was unfortunately very high.
It was on the news, even resorts with infinity pools by the beach were affected as the levels were so high and waves crashed into them.

IC.. i thought you all wasn't affect by it during ur trip..

Almost every sea side shooting session, I was wet up to the pockets up. :D

One moment the waves are only ankle deep, a few waves later, a few big ones about knee level come in.

Could really feel the power of the waves at this point.
I was composing and getting ready to scram with the camera at anything the surf got more powerful during the exposure. :D

Tambalingan Lake

Not sure if its seasonal or permanent, but Tamblingan Lake was dried up all the way at least 200m from where the waters was 2 years ago.
No more jetty nor boats at the same water line to the temple anymore.

Imam,

you B & W, brings a fresh perspective to my limited appreciation of B & W photography. More to learn from you. Well done.

Batu Bolong Temple

This temple is still in Tanah Lot area, located slightly a short distance north of Tanah Lot Temple.
Batu Bolong means Rock with Hole. Access to the beach area of this temple is now restricted.
The cliff path down is considered slippery and dangerous.

Did they seal off the cliff path already? It was open to all the last time few times I went there. It is not that dangerous actually, just a couple of spots to take note of.
